Filing A Complaint
We strive for excellence in maintaining the confidentiality of protected health information. We ask for input from individuals who have concerns about possible breaches of confidentiality. The University of Utah takes these reports very seriously and maintains a strict no retaliation policy to protect those who come forward with concerns. We have multiple options available in the event that we discover abreach of confidentiality, which include training and/or disciplinary action. Filing a complaint with the University Privacy Office is voluntary. We will use the information you provide to address the problem.
